You should change your password immediately after the first login. To change your password, click on the My Account link in the Others section of the Desktop. The system requires the password to be changed every 90 days for security purposes.
To change your password, you must enter your old password and your new password. You will also need to retype your new password to confirm it. Your new password must be at least 8 characters long and contain at least one digit; however, it cannot be entirely numerical. The system does not allow new passwords if there are more than 15 of the same password in the system. This is to prevent the system from having too many of the same passwords. If you attempt to create a common new password, you will receive the error message "Password cannot be used because it's too common. Please create a different password". Passwords also cannot contain the login name. For example: If your login name is "Jane" and you try to create the password "jane1234" the system will reject the password and display the error message "Password contains the login name. Please create a different password".
Press the Save button to save your new password (and print settings). If your new password is accepted, you will be returned to the desktop. If there is a problem, an error message will be displayed, and your old password will remain valid.
